Damn my army A.D.D. now I'm working on Iron Warriors...

I wish I could focus, but my mind has been everywhere of late.
I currently have 3 projects running all at once (4 if you count the one that I'm just making purchases for and haven't even begun yet).  Lets do a quick run down...
1. Warriors of Chaos for WHFB, I have been enjoying building and painting this army, but with 6th ed. for 40k just being released my interest in Fantasy has been waning, I'm sure my fire will be stoked once the rumored new army book is released for these bad boys.
2. Elysian Drop Troops, I have been making progress, and I like the way the army is coming along, but with so many changes to the rules in 6th edition, I want to wait until I get a better grip on things before I press forward.
3. Iron Warriors, the rumored new codex has me stoked, and I have been building and painting Chaos Marines as fast as I can (which is not very fast mind you) it now looks that this may be the army I am going to take to the Mechanicon this year, if all goes according to plan.

All this painting, army list constructing, wish listing for the new book, converting, and so on has led me to looking back to the early days of 40k, and my previous brushes (see what I did there? brushes?) with the forces of Chaos.

Way back in the early days of 2nd edition, I had built a Chaos force.  Mostly Iron Warriors, and that primarily was Terminators.  Then 3rd edition came along, and with that a new codex.  I found that the new codex lacked character, and for a long time I shied away from Chaos.  That was until the 3rd Chaos Book came along.  This third installment of the Chaos Codex is in my humble opinion the best Codex that Games Workshop has ever put out.  It had everything in it, lots of cool wargear options, rules for the legions, the list goes on and on.  There was no reason why any two Chaos Warbands should look the same.

So, once again I took brush to model and painted up my second Iron Warriors army, and I had many battles and much fun.  That was until the release of the bland piece of shit we call the current Chaos Codex.  Are you starting to see a trend here?  If the trends follow suit I am expecting great things from this new book.

In my humble opinion, there is much at stake here as well, not just Chaos Marines, but a trend to be set for 6th edition as a whole.  The current Chaos Codex was written during a "dumbing down" of Warhammer 40k, which left the book bland and lifeless, I thought they would have learned their lesson with the 3rd edition book, but it seems history was destined to repeat itself.  Anyways, with this new 6th edition rules set so full of character, and focused on narrative, and grand heroic battles I am really looking for this, what is rumored to be the first codex of 6th edition to really be a grand affair.

So, I have gone out on a limb and put together a full 10 man Chaos Marine Squad, five of them are already painted, and I have the second five assembled and primed waiting to be painted.  (I will post some pictures up later this week)

I have made a rough list, to give me something to paint towards, but was sticking with basic Chaos Marines, in case the new book had some shiny new toys I wouldn't be able to resist.  Unfortunately it looks like the new Chaos Codex isn't going to hit the shelves in August like I thought, which means that more than likely, the old Codex is going to be used for Mechanicon.

So my plan is to push forward,

Here is the list I came up with so far:

Chaos Lord in Termie Armor, with Combi-Weapon, Deamon Weapon, MoN (I know, but I really want that T5)
4x Terminators with Reaper AC
Land Raider Transport
5x Terminators with Reaper AC
Land Raider Transport
Squad 1: x10 Asp Champ, PF and Combi-MG, 2x MG
Rhino with Dozer, and Havoc Launcher
Squad 2: x10 Asp Champ, PW and PP, 2x PG
Rhino with Dozer, and Havoc Launcher
2x Defilers

a small list and probably not very competitive, but I think it looks very "Iron Warriorish" and should be loads of fun to play.  Of course the list will probably change ten times between now and then, and if I get bored I may change armies all together.

Now, since my Fantasy Army isn't going to be done in time, what the hell do I take to Blob's Park?!

6th Edition is here, and so is my first game

Okay, so my son Chucky and I went down to the corner store to try out the new 6th edition rules.  We wanted to play a smallish game, so we could take the time to look up rules, but we wanted armies large enough to use some of the new goodies that were spread all through this new rulebook.  With that in mind we agreed on 1000 points a side.

Of course this being my first game of the new edition there was no other army to choose than my beloved Space Wolves who had been collecting dust for a few months while I've been messing around with some other projects.  My son who has decided to start a Tau army, borrowed some of my models so that he could try them out in this new edition. (I should note here, that I am not attempting to club a baby seal for this battle report, my son who is 19, has been playing WH40k for about 9 years, and is quite an accomplished player in his own right.)

Here is the list I decided on:
Wolf Guard Battle Leader, "Erik the Master of the Hunt" on a bike with a Frost Blade (sword)

The Blood Claws x7 with a Power Axe, and a Flamer, led by Wolf Guard Hagar, with Power Axe, and Flamer.  Rhino Transport

The Grey Hunters x10 with a Power Sword, Plasma pistol, 2x Plasma guns, Standard, Mark of the Wulfen, led by Wolf Guard Boris in Terminator Armor, with a Power Axe and Storm Bolter

The Long Fangs x6 with 5x Heavy Bolters

Blood Claw Biker Pack (sorry, can't get used to calling them Swift Claws) x3+1 Attack Bike with Heavy Botler, one pack member has a Power Fist, and another a Melta-gun, led by Wolf Guard Dorgar of the Hill People, on a bike with a Power Fist.

As a fortification choice I took the Aegis Defense Line with the Quad-Gun upgrade.

My son took:
Commander Shas'o, with 2x bodyguards and 2x shield drones with an assortment of Plasma and Missile Pods
A Battle Suit Team of 3 with an assortment of Missile Pods and Burst Cannons with some more Shield Drones
3x Fire Warrior Squads of 10 each
Hammer Head Gunship (which he used one of my Devil Fish as Proxy)

(Please note here that neither list is optimized, we simply wanted to take a variety of units in an effort to see how different units and rules interacted with one another during the course of game play while getting used to the new rules.)

We rolled for the mission and ended up with The Relic, that is a single Objective in the middle of the board, rolling for deployment type we ended up with Vanguard Strike (I like this deployment)

I rolled for my Warlord ability, taking the personal traits, rolling a one I got "Master of Defense" really? WTF?!!  So my Battle Leader on a bike, gets to give himself and the unit he is with (more bikes by the way) the Counter Attack Special rule (which they already have) while in their own deployment zone...

My son, being the sporting fellow, offered me a re-roll, but I declined, it is what it is.  Sometimes the ability will be cool, other times, not so much.

My son deployed with his Fire Warriors center, his Hammer Head in support behind them, and the Missile Pod, Burst Cannon Suit squad on his left, the Commander and Body Guard were in reserve for a deep strike operation.

Below you can see my deployment, I set up my defense line in the center with the Quad gun and the Grey Hunters holding the fort, my Blood Claws in their Rhino were on my left and the Long Fangs on the right.  My Bikers with the Battle leader were as far up and left as they could go, out of line of site to most of the Tau due to intervening terrain.

Chucky Takes the first turn, Shifting his Fire Warriors (Fire Warriors got a huge boost in this edition, the ability to move and still fire at 30" is a great boon for this unit, maybe more people will start using them in their armies now) and his battle suits he then sends a massive amount of Fire Power into my Long Fangs killing four of them.  They make their moral check, Chucky makes a shift with the Battle suits in the Assault phase in an effort to prepare for the inevitable Biker attack.

In my first turn, I move my bikers forward 12" to behind the building right in front of them.  I rush my rhino forward and left to the far side of the Landing pad, attempting to place the Tau in a pincer move, hopefully causing him to split his fire power on the two units.
My Grey Hunters and the Long Fangs stay put.
I open up with my Long Fangs into the Fire Warriors that are hiding in the ruins, as I didn't have a good field of fire on his Battle Suits, I kill a couple, most making their cover saves.
The Quad gun opens up on the Hammer head, as I was able to draw a line of sight under the landing pad.
I had to take a picture of my shots, because I never roll like this...
He passes two of the cover saves afforded to the Hammer Head, and in the end I strip 2 hull points with glances (all four shots glanced) my dice were hot...
I then Turbo boost my Bikers around the corner of the Building preparing for what will hopefully be a turn two assault, and I also move my Rhino up in the shooting phase to take cover behind a wall and to prepare to get into his lines as quickly as possible.(I would have popped smoke, but I don't think I can if I move flat out)

Chucky then rolls for reserves, and finds that his Commander is going to come in and attempt to save the day, he drops him in Deep Striking right onto the landing pad in a position to turn my Blood Claws into slag.
He then moves 2 Fire Warrior squads and the Hammer Head into position to support his Commander.  On the other side he commits his other Battle Suit squad and a squad of Fire Warriors to attempt to take out the Bikes (he knows all too well that those bikers need to die, if he is to have any chance of winning)
The fire power he unleashes on the Blood Claws in the Rhino is truly an impressive sight, the Rhino explodes, leaving nothing but a smoking crater, and after the support fire is finished only 2x Blood Claws remain, one with a Flamer and one with a Power Axe.  They pass their pinning check and their moral, so are still a threat to the Greater Good.

On the other side of the board the Tau did not fare as well, killing a single biker, and stripping a wound from the Attack Bike was all the Tau were able to accomplish on that side of the Battle Field.

In my Turn my Bikers go straight for the Battle Suit Squad with Missile Pods and burst, while the Biker Pack goes forward towards the Fire Warriors (I was careful here to split the Character off from the pack, I could have kept him with them and multi-charged, but I didn't want to lose my attack bonuses)
I positioned the last few Blood Claws to shoot with their flamers at the commander and then make a charge attempt.  While my Grey Hunters clambered over the Aegis Wall, and advanced on the Landing Pad, the Long Fangs would take some shots on the Battle Suits to soften them up for Erik.

My shooting being a little lack luster, I decide to do things the old fashioned way, with a howl, I charge with everything I can.  My Blood Claws roll box cars and make the assault to the Battle Suits on the Landing Pad (we made a mistake here, I was supposed to roll 3 dice and take the highest out, but as I was only seven inches away and rolled box cars we decided not to worry about it, as I would have made the charge anyway)
Erik, smashes into the Battle Suit Squad while my Bikers smash into the Fire Warriors, literally as one of them crashes his bike charging into the ruin...Over Watch takes a wound off of my Battle Leader, takes out a Bike from the Swift Claws, and kills the Wolf Guard in the Landing pad charge. (Over Watch is another great boon for some armies, even with needing sixes to hit, it is intimidating to have all that fire power come your way when you are trying to get into someones battle lines)

Most of the combats were short and bloody, with Erik finishing off the Battle Suits, the Blood Claw bikers killing the Fire Warriors to a man (Hammer of Wrath is just a cool rule).  The Tau commander however, puts up a fight, killing the Blood Claw with the Flamer, I cause enough wounds however with my Power Axe to swing the battle into my favor, the Tau commander passes his leadership and the fight will continue.

As Chucky starts his next turn, he realizes he needs to do something about those damn Bikes.  He shifts his remaining Fire Warrior packs and his Hammer Head into a position to deal with this threat.  He pours everything he has into the Biker pack, when the smoke clears all that remains is my Attack Bike with a single wound remaining, who then promptly fails his leadership check and flees back about 11 inches.  At this point he is quite pleased with himself, but realizes this will cost him, my Battle Leader is still alive, as are 3 Long Fangs, all with Heavy Bolters.  Things are not looking so good for the Tau...

In the Close Combat phase he manages to finish off the last Blood Claw before he even gets to swing, freeing up his Commander and Bodyguards. ( like the new rules for Power Weapons, I really think this is a bad example, because I had so few survive to the combat, but in a larger combat the S5 AP2 will really come in handy I think.  as another note, I played another game after this with my DeathWing, and had a Sgt. with a Power Maul walk through quite a few Orks.  S6 AP4 isn't so bad)

The Tau are in trouble, I push hard with my Battle Leader and prepare to assault a large group of Fire Warriors, riding right through the ruin, a gamble I know, I have to remember that IC do not have skilled rider anymore.  My Lone Attack bike positions himself on another Fire Warrior squad out of the way of the Long Fangs so they can soften them up a bit before the charge.
My Grey Hunters continue their advance and climb onto the Landing Pad.
In my shooting phase the combined fire power of the Long Fangs and the Attack Bike kill 8 Fire Warriors out of the ten, they pass their Moral and decide to stick around for the face smash, I fire with my Bolters on the bike of the Battle leader to no effect, Erik just likes to swing his Frost Blade I think, (he is a lousy shot)
The Grey Hunters open up fire, trusting in their close range fire power to win them through the day, killing the Shield Drones one of the Body Guard and causing a wound on the commander.

I declare my charges, the Battle Leader smashes into the full squad of ten Fire Warriors and my Attack bike, well, uhm, he rolls a pair of twos and falls short of making the charge.  This would prove fatal for the Attack bikers...(I originally thought I would hate the new charge rules, but I find the uncertainty exciting.)

Of course Erik, wins combat, the Tau break and are promptly run down.
Not much left, Chucky uses the Hammer Head to try and stop Erik, to no avail.  The remaining Fire Warriors do manage to kill the Attack Bike, but the Tau Commanders shooting isn't as effective against the Grey Hunters as he needs it to be.  In his assault phase he abandons the Landing pad in an effort to preserve the life of his commander.

In this last turn, I move my Grey Hunters onto the objective, and open fire on the Tau Battle suits, Erik finishes off the Hammer Head (it only had one hull point left, and didn't move in the previous turn), and my Long Fangs finish off the last of the Fire Warriors.

a Victory for the Space Wolves.  Not a bad first outing.

Chucky has since improved the list, his new 1000 point Tau list is much deadlier, I will post it here soon.
I am really not happy with the performance of the Rhino, very fragile now.  I think Mech may finally be dead.  Long live the Blood Claw Biker!!!

Oh, and I know most of you disagree, but the Heavy Bolter is even more awesome than before.  Missile Spam? Pffft....  15 Heavy Bolters baby...

I do hope you all enjoyed the read, please feel free to post any and all comments you may have.  Especially if you note any rules mistakes, this was our first game with this new edition.

WH40K 6th is almost upon us! and so is Dexcon!

Man have I been busy of late.  Above you can see what I have been up to the last 9 weeks or so, over 100 Police Recruits are preparing to graduate from the Police Academy on Wednesday, after which I am taking a much needed break from work.

I am going to be using that time to get in some serious hobby time, I plan on taking a couple of day trips to various game stores for some gaming, I am going to work on some projects that I have been ignoring for way too long, and of course I am going to absorb every page of the new 6th edition rule book!

6th edition is almost here, I picked up my copy of White Dwarf the other night, and have already read it from cover to cover.  It was really just a tease, as it gave me a little insight as to what was to come, but left me wondering how it is all going to fit together.

This new edition couldn't come at a better time, I am very bored with 5th, I feel the edition has run its course, and I am tired of playing the same old thing.  I needed a shake up, and boy does 6th look like its going to do that.

For those of you living under a rock, 6th edition looks to be bringing back quite a few old rules with an updated twist, it looks like you can throw grenades again, and that there is over-watch in a new form.  A new Force Org chart looks to include the ability to purchase Fortifications as part of your list (I can't wait to add some to my IG army) and the new Allies rules look to really shake up the Meta (if they are going to be allowed in Tournaments).

Its going to be an all new universe, and I for one am ready...

Honestly, I don't know what I'm going to do, I feel a new edition deserves a whole new army, but what to choose?  I already have half a dozen projects going, the two main current ones being WoC for Fantasy, and my Elysian Drop Troop project the other.  Now with the new rules for flyers, I think my IG army is going to be a blast.  But I am going to need something brand new, to take advantage of trying out all of the new rules.  I guess I'll have to wait, and give the new rulebook a good read before I decide.

What else is coming up? Nick Nanivati (sorry if I butchered the spelling Nick) or should I say the "Dreaded Nick" is running the Warhammer 40k Tournament at Dexcon 15, a two-day event.
Nick is a very experienced and accomplished gamer, crushing all who oppose him all across the East Coast, this boy knows how to play, he also knows how a Tournament should be run.  I expect this event to put the "Grand" into Grand Tournament.
I really wish I could participate in this one, but I just can't commit to the entire weekend, so I am going to make do with a day trip on Thursday or Friday.  The convention itself runs from 07-04 through 07-08 and promises to be a great event.
I am probably going to make my way north on Thursday to say hi to some friends, and check out the dealers room.
The link is below for those interested.

Some Elysian Drop Trooper lists...

Ok, so I have completed assembling my second squad.  I will be priming it one day this week providing that the humidity isn't too bad.

I should be all set for the Combat Patrol campaign my son is starting on Thursday nights.  A small force of 2x Veteran squads and a Valkyrie as a dedicated transport.  We decided to allow me to use the IA8 list, so that I can field stuff as I build it, allowing me to take one as a Transport (in the normal Adepticon rules, the Valkyrie would have too much armor and would not be allowed as a Fast Attack choice.)

I am currently planning on 2 Versions of this Army, one using the IA8 list, which will be my main list for local play and Tournaments that will allow it.   I have already spoken with Rich at Jester's Playhouse, and he is fine with it, and after a discussion with the TOs of the WFN GT in South Jersey, they decided they would open up Imperial Armor lists and equipment for their tournaments as well.  All great new for me!
The standard IG list, I will be used for other Tournaments, the first probably being the Mechanicon.  (the Friday Night Vets Tournament, will feature the IA8 list).
Here is the list I have planned so far:
Hq: Company Command.  The Commander has a Plasma pistol, Power Fist, and Homing Beacon
Vet with Grenade Launcher
Vet with Vox
Heavy Bolter Team
2x Body Guards
Valkyrie Transport with Missile Pods and LC upgrade

Hq: Long Range Ground Scanner

Troops: 1st Platoon
Command: Lt has a Plasma Pistol and Power fist
Vet with LasCutter
Vet with Grenade Launcher
Vet with Vox

Sentinel with Multi-Melta (yes it is part of the platoon!)

1st squad: Plasma pistol, Vox, Demo-charge, Flamer
2nd squad: Plasma pistol, Vox, Demo-charge, Flamer

Special weapons Team with 3x MG
Special weapons Team with 3x MG

Troops: Veteran squad with MGx3, Plasma pistol, Demo specialists
Valkyrie Transport with the Missile Pods and LC upgrade

Troops: Veteran squad with MGx3, Plasma pistol, Demo specialists
Valkyrie Transport with the Missile Pods and LC upgrade

Elite: Sentinel wtih Multi-Melta

Fast Attack: 2x Cyclops remote control Demolition Vehicles

Fast Attack: Tauros Venator with LasCannon upgrade

Fast Attack: Tauros Venator with LasCannon upgrade

Heavy Support: Vulture Gunship with Twin Linked Punisher Cannons

I should be in pretty good shape, I currently have most of it purchased already, and am just waiting shipment on a single squad of infantry and the Tauros Venators.
I have yet to buy the Vulture, so that is on the "not sure if it stays" list.  I may have a go at converting one, shouldn't be too difficult.

Here is the list I am planning using the standard IG codex:

Company Command: Officer has a Power fist, Plasma pistol, and Melta-bombs.
4x Melta-guns
2x Bodyguards

Veteran Squad 1: 3x Plasma guns, Missile Launcher, Sgt. has a Power weapon
Veteran Squad 2: 3x Plasma guns, Missile Launcher
Veteran Squad 3: 3x Melta guns, Demolitions, Sgt. has a Powerfist and a Shotgun
Veteran Squad 4: 3x Melta guns, Demolitions, Sgt. has a Powerfist and a Shotgun
Penal legion Squad

Valkyrie squadron x3 with lascannon upgrades, and Missile Pods (carry the command, and the 2x Melta vet squads)

Vendetta Squadron x2 (carry the PG Vet Squads)

Scout Sentinel squadron x3 with Auto-cannons, and Hunter Killer Missiles

Storm troopers x8: Plasma guns x2, Sgt has a Power weapon and Plasma pistol

A much different list.  Of course those of you who know me will realize that this is all going to change 50 times from now until game day, but I always like to have a rough idea of the direction I am heading...

A real update! (sort of) Elysian Drop Troops, a New Store and More!

Man oh man, things have been crazy, work has been keeping me a little too busy, and has seriously cut into my hobby time.  I did however get a Saturday off yesterday, which is a bit unusual for this time of year.  I took the day to head up to the old Echelon Mall, in Vorhees, to visit a new store on its Grand Opening, Out of the Box, owned by my buddy Mike, former Manager at the GW Vorhees store.  What a great place, with lots going on, above you can see a couple of shots of the store, nice and clean with a great selection of GW, Dust, Flames of War, Warmachine, and some other cool stuff, by Gale Force Nine, Avatars of War, Army Painter, the list goes on.

To kick off his Grand Opening, Mike had a 2000 Point-three game, One day event.  I originally wasn't able to get a slot to play, as the event sold out quickly, but went up on a whim, on the stand by list, hoping to squeeze in and play some games.  A risky prospect considering it's an eighty-five mile drive but what the hell.  In the end, I'm glad I did, I was able to get a slot and play.

I took my Death Wing, and had a great time, seeing some old friends, and some new faces.  The terrain was great, especially considering the store is brand new, Mike really put in a lot of time and effort to ensure his opening day was a great event.

I ended up going 2 wins and 1 loss, losing to my buddy Paul and his incredibly tough IG force.  I did however manage two wins, one against Tyranids and the other against Orks.  I also took the award for having the most Kill Points at the end of the Tournament, (Mike has a name for it, but I can't remember what he called the award).  Prize support was great considering the price of the Tournament, and that it was a one day event, I walked away with a nifty little trophy and a 25.00 gift certificate to put towards anything in the store.

Above we have Belial surrounded by a Orky Dread and a bunch of Kans, Belial had an unusually good day yesterday, and wasn't behaving like his normal whimpish self...

I will most certainly be adding the "Out of the Box" Store to my list of places to visit for events, and day trips.

Thanks Mike for a great day!

Even though I have been busy, I have been managing to squeeze in a little hobby time.  Doing some work here and there on my Warriors of Chaos Fantasy project, and what has become my next 40k project, the Elysian Drop Troops.

So far, I have a ten man squad of Veterans painted, below you can see the paint scheme I have selected.  I know the picture quality isn't the best, but it's been so long since I've posted a real update, I wanted to get something on the blog to show.

I am currently putting together a second squad, and have made a purchase of some more FW stuff to try and flesh out the army.

Next up we have the first of many Valkyrie Ships that will be in the force, it took me quite awhile to figure out what to do for a paint scheme for these fantastic models and in the end settled for a nice dark brown.  I got the base coat which is a spray from Michael's, it's by "Liquitex"  and is a water based spray which takes extremely well to GW paints.
I have also done a few conversions using the Mantic Corporation miniatures which I think have turned out fairly well, I will get some shots up of these guys along with some better WIP pictures when I have more time.

I do want to thank everyone for reading, and I'll be posting again real soon...

40k Limbo,

Not so much the above, but more like below...

I just don't know what my next 40k project is going to be, I am suffering from a bit of Space Wolves burn out.  I tend to go through this every couple of years, and pick up a new 40k project for a few months to "recharge" my batteries.  No worries though, I never wander too far from the Fang, and always return to my Space Wolves.

I have done a couple of test models, thinking on a couple of potential projects.  First up is an Iron Warrior Chaos Marine.  I went for a very clean look to this model, figuring that Iron Warriors would spend a lot of their time caring for and maintaining their gear.  Even in the field

I went for red as the secondary color rather than the traditional gold, as I feel it is a better contrast to the other metallics, and breaks up the model a bit better, besides that Red is the color of Combat Engineers in the US army, so what better color to put on these guys.  I think I like the look, and have played with a few lists on Army Builder, but have decided to wait and see if the rumors are true, and see if a new Chaos book is truly coming our way sometime in the near future.
In the meantime, I will probably paint a few more standard Marines for the Iron Warriors as the spirit moves me in an effort to get a jump start on the force.

Next up I have a couple of shots of a test paint scheme for my Elysian Drop Troops army.

I have been attempting to collect an army of these guys for years.  A couple of things have prevented me from ever completing them however (not counting the fully converted army that took 2nd best paint at the Philly GT 10 or so years ago) 1. Forge World is expensive, I have spent literally hundreds of dollars on these guys, and still have not collected enough of them for a full army, and 2. I really find working with Resin annoying. and 3. (okay, a few things, not so much a couple) the scale is off, more of a true scale model rather than the hero scale of most GW models, this makes converting difficult.

Enter Mantic Games http://www.manticgames.com/Shop-Home.html , cruising the net for some conversion bits for my various armies has led me to this little company.  They have Recently produced a Sci-Fi line of miniatures which I thought may suit my needs and allow me to finally really get to work on a true Elysian Drop Troops army.
They certainly have the look I was going for, and the scale looks pretty close.  On a whim, I ordered the army deal, just Seventy Five bucks for something like 40 miniatures! this was a deal, price-wise you can't even compare it to Forge World.
When they came in I was eager to compare the scale to the Elysians, and I was not disappointed.  The scale is nearly perfect!

Above I have some side by side shots with the Elysian Drop Troops, real close.  I am betting that once I have converted them and have them side by side painted on the table top it is going to be hard to tell the difference between them.
So I will probably start working on some of these guys.  right now I only have 2 Valkyries and need to place a Forge World order for some Elysian Weapon Sprues, but I have enough to get me started, and I can add the units to my current IG army to start some play testing with some new units.

Of course work continues on my Marauders of Chaos army, I have finished painting another five Marauders and have enough assembled to start playing some small skirmishes of 5-6 hundred points to start learning this Warhammer Fagasy game.  When I get something done with them that is worth posting, I will certainly put some new photos up.

Well till next time,
And remember, Friends don't let friends play Grey Knights
